Become a Club Sponsor

Your sponsorship of ROMP not only helps us maintain access for mountain bikers to local parks, but helps your business as well. Without access to local trails, mountain cyclists have no practical way to enjoy their sport without traveling great distances. Without a place to enjoy their bikes, mountain cyclists will cease to purchase new bikes, maintain and upgrade their current bikes, or purchase clothing and accessories. No local access for mountain cyclists means no sales for local shops, distributors and manufacturers. With mountain bikes accounting for over 75% of bicycle sales nationally, chances are that access for local mountain cyclist affects your business!

There is a way you can help to ensure trail access for your customers, thereby increasing sales of new bikes, lucrative upgrade and maintenance, and profitable clothing and accessories: become a ROMP sponsor. Your support of ROMP helps to make our efforts possible.

How you can help

You can help support ROMP by becoming a sponsoring Member/Supporter. For only $75 per year, you will make a difference by helping to provide funds for necessary educational materials such as rules of the trail cards and trail education stations; communications such as our newsletter, flyers, and web page; and community activities such as trail building and awareness events. Since all our efforts are performed by volunteers, you can be assured that every dollar of your support goes directly to education and outreach, benefiting cyclists and the businesses that serve them. Our sponsoring members/supporters receive the following benefits:

  • Twelve months of advertising in Mountain Cyclist, ROMP's monthly newsletter featuring local trail news, a comprehensive ride list, resource directories, features, editorials, special events; distributed to our membership and bike shops all over the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay
  • Monthly copies of Mountain Cyclist to share with your customers
  • Listing on the ROMP website sponsor page, including a link to your own web page
  • Official ROMP Member/Supporter certificate
  • An article in Mountain Cyclist welcoming you as a sponsor and profiling your shop
  • ROMP's Mountain Bike Information Guide, a guide for the beginning mountain biker and new Bay Area cyclist, to copy and share with your customers
  • A static cling decal of the ROMP logo to display in your storefront window, identifying your business as a proud supporter of our efforts in the trail community.ROMP decal
