ROMP Email List
ROMP hosts an email list where various subjects of interest to mountain bikers in the San Francisco Bay area are discussed. Subjects such as arranging rides with other folks on the net, information about where to ride, upcoming events, and advocacy issues are common.
The list usually averages less than one message per day; however, if you would still like to minimize your messages, a digest version is available, or the archives may be read without subscribing.
Send messages for the list to romp@topica.com. All messages sent to this address will automatically be forwarded to all members of the ROMP list. Please limit your messages to items that would be of interest to local mountain cyclists.
To subscribe to the regular list, send a blank message to romp-subscribe@topica.com and you will be automatically subscribed.
To unsubscribe, send a blank message to romp-unsubscribe@topica.com and you will be automatically unsubscribed.
If you would prefer to minimize the number of messages you recieve, the list also has a digest option. The digest compiles all the messages sent to the list in a 24-hour period into one message, and only that message is sent to you. To subscribe to the digest or to change your digest settings if your are already subscribed, send a blank message to romp-request-digest@topica.com.
This is all you need to do to subscribe to the ROMP mailing list. After you subscribe, instructions and confirmation of your addition will be emailed to you.

All posts to the list are archived. If you prefer, you may read the archives without subscribing to the list. Messages from 1999 and earlier are archived here, at the CyberCyclery.
