Everyone is Welcome!

Come out and join us on one of our rides! Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a ROMP member to join us on one of our rides.

Generally speaking our Saturday rides are easier than our Sunday rides in both pace and terrain. On Saturdays, ride leaders tend to go slower, and over less challenging trails with less roots and rocks and other obstacles that make mountain biking both challenging and fun.

Most of our rides have a rating, and please review the rating system to make sure your skills are appropriate for the ride. For rides that are not rated, please be sure to read the description carefully. Words like social and 'no drop' are indications that the ride should be easier. Words like long, hilly, technical, and fast-paced suggest the ride will be more difficult. Also bear in mind that mountain bike miles are at least twice as hard as road miles, so if you can do 25 miles on your road bike, 10 miles mountain biking may seem like a lot!

Be prepared for your ride! Check out our beginner's guide for more information about what to wear, bring and expect, including layers, food, water, pump, inner tube, helmet and a whole lot of fun!
